Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - San Juan Regional Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - San Juan Regional Medical Center.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years of experience preferred. Charge nurse experience preferred but not required. Oncology skills helpful, but not necessary.

Unit Details: Adult patients ages 18 and older. Common diagnoses/treatments include cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, and CHF. Equipment includes VS machine, bladder scanner, IV pumps, thermal imaging, lifts, and tube feeding pumps.

Shift & Scheduling: Policy recommends all staff work at least 2 weekend shifts per month.

Special Requests: Block scheduling will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
