Physical Therapy AssistantOur outpatient therapy clinic is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who enjoys working with both adults and/or children in a supportive, collaborative environment. This role provides the opportunity to treat a diverse outpatient caseload, helping patients improve mobility, strength, and independence through evidence-based therapy.Responsibilities:Provide outpatient physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical TherapistImplement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independenceAssist with therapeutic exercise programs, neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility trainingMaintain accurate and timely documentation in EMRCollaborate with therapists and educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programsTypical caseload:Mix of adult orthopedic patients and/or pediatric casesCommon conditions include post-surgical rehab, orthopedic injuries, balance disorders, developmental delays, and mobility challenges40 minute treatment sessions, providing 1:1 patient careCollaborative care with PT, OT, SLP and ABA therapy providersRequired qualifications — please apply only if you meet these:Current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in FloridaGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programExperience treating patients in a clinical, outpatient, or rehabilitation settingStrong communication skills and ability to work with patients of different agesApplicants without a current PTA license will not be considered.Preferred:Outpatient orthopedic experienceExperience working with pediatric or mixed-age populationsExperience with therapeutic exercise, balance training, and functional mobility programsWhat we offer:$26–$28 per hour depending on experience (negotiable for more seasoned PTAs who are willing to treat pediatric patients!)Supportive, collaborative therapy teamOpportunities for mentorship and professional developmentPositive, fun clinic culture focused on patient outcomesWell-equipped therapy spaces and treatment areasThis role is ideal for therapists who enjoy treating a variety of patients, from children developing motor skills to adults recovering from injury or surgery.To apply, visit our website and follow the link to our application!Employment with Achievement Rehabilitation Through Therapeutic Intervention, Inc. is contingent upon meeting all applicable Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse requirements based on position duties.
