As part of the Financial Services Industry team, you’ll work with some of the nation’s leading private equity, hedge, and other alternative investment funds. You’ll gain valuable knowledge of the capital markets ecosystem and use it to deliver the comprehensive transaction, fund, and portfolio company audit, tax, and value creation solutions. As a result of the unique organizational structure of most private investment funds, you’ll collaborate with other CohnReznick industry and service line team members to deliver outstanding technical and client service. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Drive client engagementsReview and prepare financial statements, footnotes, workpapers, management letters, agreed upon procedures, and other attestation engagementsDemonstrate professional creativity in dealing with client matters and make constructive suggestions to improve client operationsEffectively analyze client transactions, recognizing and resolving potential or existing problems with appropriate research and consultingAccept responsibility and utilize firm resources to complete assignmentsOversee, mentor, and develop staffYOUR EXPERIENCE. The successful candidate will have: 5+ years of work experience in another public accounting firmFinancial Services experience requiredExceptional analytical, technical, and auditing skills including knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standardsBachelor’s Degree requiredCPA licensure requiredExceptional client service and communication skillsStrong leadership and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written interpersonal, and presentation skillsDemonstrates an Entrepreneurial spiritStrong experience using Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FXExceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skillsIn addition, please take a moment to review our Universal Job StandardsStudies have shown that we are less likely to apply to jobs unless we meet every single qualification.
