Structural Steel FCAW Welder/Fabricator

Where: Cocoa, FL

When: Mon–Fri, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (Saturday OT available)

Pay: $20–$25 per hour, determined by weld test performance

• Do you read fabrication and construction drawings with confidence?
• Are you comfortable running overhead cranes and magnetic drills around large steel?
• Can you produce clean, consistent FCAW welds to AWS D1.1 standards?
• Do you take pride in quality, safety, and teamwork?

• Lay out and weld structural members following drawings and weld symbols.
• Maintain required certifications and keep welder qualifications current per AWS.
• Perform visual inspections to verify weld quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Operate overhead cranes, air arc tools, grinders, magnetic drills, and related equipment safely.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure quality control and complete, on-time work.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• Keep your area organized; handle scrap and production clean-up.
• Complete basic equipment care and routine maintenance.

• Experience aligned with AWS D1.1 (2G/3G) and the willingness to keep learning.
• 2+ years of steel fabrication experience.
• Overhead crane operation experience.
• Demonstrated Flux Core welding background.
• 2G/3G certification preferred.
• Ability to pass an AWS-standard weld test.
• Schedule flexibility, including overtime and Saturdays as needed.
