Creative Director — $200,000–$250,000 + Equity | New York | Permanent Most AI companies look identical right now. Our client wants to fix that. We're retained by one of the most exciting AI companies in the market — Sequoia-backed, Series B, 3,000+ enterprise customers, 80%+ weekly active users — and at the point where brand starts to matter as much as product. The technology is exceptional. Now they need someone exceptional to define how it looks to the world. This is the first dedicated creative leadership hire in the US. They have a logo. Everything else — visual identity, brand system, website, campaigns, video, motion, the self-serve design infrastructure that lets a small team produce world-class work at scale — is yours to build. Role Highlights Define and own the company's visual identity — not a rebrand, a proper build from scratch Lead creative direction across the website (first major deliverable), launches, campaigns, events, social, and video Build a self-serve brand system and template library so the wider team can produce on-brand assets at speed, with AI embedded in the workflow Own and grow a network of freelancers and agencies across motion, video, photography, and production Partner closely with the Paris-based product design team and US leadership to keep brand and product visually aligned You Will Need Demonstrated creative leadership at a high-craft technology company — agency background considered if you've owned the work end-to-end Hands-on: able to art-direct a video, push pixels on a landing page, and brief a freelancer in the same week AI-fluent — already using AI as a core part of your creative and production workflow, not as a threat to craft Experience building or managing a creative function, brand system, or freelancer network Enterprise buyer intuition — you know what enterprise-credible brand looks and feels like, and can balance disruption with credibility Why You'll Love It Blank canvas creative mandate — full ownership of how one of AI's most interesting companies shows up to the world Real traction: 3,000+ enterprise customers, 80%+ weekly active users, Sequoia-backed Meaningful equity at a well-funded stage with genuine upside Small, low-ego, high-taste team that takes the work seriously without taking themselves too seriously New York, Soho — in-office with a team that genuinely wants to be there We are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all employees and job applicants, and strive to maintain an environment free from discrimination where all decisions are based on merit.
