Emergency Room RNEmergency Room RN for client at Sweetwater, TX.Location: Sweetwater, TX 79556Duration: 13 weeks ContractPay Range: $40- $48/hrShift: 7p-7aJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a Level IV Trauma Center serving a rural community in West Texas. The Emergency Department is an 8-bed unit with an average 24-hour patient volume of approximately 30 patients. The ER RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent medical conditions. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a rural emergency department, collaborating closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team, and responding effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department with acute, urgent, and emergent conditions.Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and prioritization based on acuity.Monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and overall condition.Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and other treatments as ordered.Assist physicians with emergency procedures, examinations, and interventions.Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate emergency interventions.Respond effectively to trauma, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress, stroke, sepsis, and other critical conditions.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, medications, and outcomes.Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, follow-up care, and discharge instructions.Collaborate with emergency physicians, respiratory therapists, laboratory staff, radiology personnel, and other members of the healthcare team.Maintain patient safety, infection prevention, and quality-of-care standards.Follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable State and Federal healthcare regulations.Maintain a professional and compassionate approach when caring for patients and their families.Required QualificationsCurrent and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.Previous Emergency Department/ER nursing experience required.Experience working in a trauma or acute-care environment preferred.Ability to perform rapid assessments and prioritize care in a fast-paced emergency setting.Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and emergency response skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Required CertificationsTNCC – Trauma Nursing Core CourseACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life SupportPALS – Pediatric Advanced Life SupportBLS – Basic Life SupportTo discuss this amazing opportunity, reach out to our Talent Acquisition Specialist Ritika Sharma at View email address on click.appcast.io or can be reached on View phone number on click.appcast.io.About generis tek: generis tek is a boutique it/professional staffing based in Chicago land.
