This opportunity is perfect for a Pharmacy student with a PA board of pharmacy Intern license, who enjoys interacting with their patients and who is looking to broaden their pharmacy career. Estimated Pay: $22-$24 p/h based on year in pharmacy school, we will also consider any prior technician experience too.

Strong knowledge for adjudicating claims and filling prescriptions efficiently.
Accept written prescriptions or refill requests from patients and evaluating information for completeness and accuracy.
Record medical histories while maintaining confidentially and compliance with HIPPA regulations.
Deliver quality customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests.
Select and count appropriate medication, place in appropriate container, create pharmacy label, and places completed prescription in area for pharmacist to verify.
Participate in inventory audits and purchasing of medications and pharmacy supplies.

Must have an active Pharmacist Intern license with the PA Board of Pharmacy.
Two or more years of pharmacy tech experience preferred.
Retail Pharmacy experience preferred.
A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
In good standing with the PA Board of Pharmacy.
Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care.
Computer experience mandatory. Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently.
