Receptionist/Therapy Aide- Part Time

Hiring a part-time Receptionist/Therapy Aide to join the Rehab Services department. This position will work approximately 15 hours per week, primarily in the afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, shifts and days of the week may vary. No weekends or holidays. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for answering phones and scheduling patients in the Rehab Services department Calling insurance companies for eligibility/prior authorizations Transporting patients to and from Rehab Services to other areas of the hospital as needed Assisting therapists with patients as needed Cleaning patient rooms/equipment General office duties including scanning, faxing, phone calls, etc. Qualifications: Education: Must be a High school graduate or equivalent. Excellent computer skills, including basic knowledge of Microsoft excel helpful. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to multitask. Experience: Insurance/medical background preferred. Applicant must pass background check, drug screen and health assessment including applicable vaccinations prior to hire. Position open until filled.
