L&D | RN - NJ | 13-Week Local Contract – Harrison Township, NJ Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Contract Job in Harrison Township, New Jersey Experienced Labor & Delivery RN needed for a 13-week contract in Harrison Township, NJ, with Mother-Baby and postpartum couplet care in a collaborative women’s health setting. Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,580 - $2,720 Location: Harrison Township, New Jersey Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery / Mother-Baby Start Date: 8/10/2026 Schedule: 36 hours per week Patient Care Model: AWHONN staffing guidelines, including 1:1 and 1:2 labor assignments and 1:3 couplets Unit Highlights: 20 patient rooms used as LDR and mother-baby couplet rooms, 2 OB ORs for circulating C-sections, and 3 OB ED rooms Registered Nurse Requirements Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required Mother-Baby nursing experience preferred Postpartum couplet care experience strongly preferred Current New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required Epic EHR experience requiredAHA BLS certification required NRP certification required ACLS certification required All required licenses and certifications must be active at submission Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care for patients in Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby assignments Monitor and support patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with AWHONN staffing and safety guidelines Circulate for cesarean sections in OB operating rooms as needed Assess maternal and newborn status and respond appropriately to changes in condition Document patient care accurately in Epic Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality outcomes for mothers and newborns Complete orientation, virtual onboarding, and unit-based training as scheduled Apply now for this Labor & Delivery RN contract opportunity in Harrison Township, New Jersey, and join a dedicated healthcare team focused on exceptional maternal and newborn care. 401K with Matching, Healthcare, Dental and Vision We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity across our organization.
