CT Technologist - Casual

Within the Imaging Department, under the direction of the Special Imaging Manager, the CT Technologist operates a computerized tomography (CT) scanner to obtain quality images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. The role includes positioning patients for procedures, preparing radiopaque media, operating the scanner, manipulating images to better demonstrate anatomical structures, maintaining proper documentation, providing a thorough history, and communicating effectively with the Radiologist. Sign On Bonus This position is eligible for a $2500 Sign On Bonus. Note: Pediatric work experience is NOT required. A desire to serve children and families is essential. Children’s has a robust orientation process. Must be able to commit to 16 hours each month outside of Memorial through Labor Day with the commitment of 32 hours a month. Qualifications Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiologic Technologist. ARRT (CT) certification within 24 months of hire and continued maintenance. Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross. Six to twelve months of related experience preferred.
