Phlebotomist - Home Visits (Clinical Research, Per Diem)

Mobile Clinical Research PhlebotomistWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mobile Clinical Research Phlebotomist to support clinical research studies by conducting in-home visits with study participants. In this role, you will perform blood draws, collect biological specimens, and complete study procedures according to clinical research protocols.This position is ideal for phlebotomists who are comfortable working independently, traveling to patient homes, and providing a professional, patient-centered experience while supporting important clinical research.ResponsibilitiesConduct in-home visits with clinical trial participants according to study schedulesPerform venipuncture and collect blood specimens following study protocols and safety guidelinesProcess, label, and prepare specimens for shipment to central laboratoriesAccurately document study procedures and visit detailsMaintain compliance with study protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelinesMaintain proper chain of custody for biological specimensEnsure participant safety, privacy, and comfort during home visitsCommunicate with clinical research coordinators and study teams as neededManage and maintain phlebotomy and specimen collection suppliesFollow all infection control and safety proceduresRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPhlebotomy certification from an accredited programMinimum 1–2 years of phlebotomy experienceDemonstrated experience performing venipuncture on diverse patient populationsReliable transportation and ability to travel to participant homesValid driver's license with a clean driving recordStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage a flexible scheduleComfortable using electronic documentation systemsPreferred QualificationsExperience working in clinical research or clinical trialsKnowledge of clinical trial protocols and documentation requirementsFamiliarity with specimen processing and shipment proceduresExperience providing mobile or home-based healthcare servicesCertification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP)Physical RequirementsAbility to travel to participant homes within the assigned regionAbility to lift and carry specimen kits and medical suppliesAbility to stand, bend, and safely perform venipuncture proceduresAbility to use a tablet or computer for documentationWork EnvironmentHome visit setting (travel to participant residences)Collaboration with clinical research teams and study coordinatorsFlexible scheduling based on participant availability$150 - $400 a day Pay is based on experience and paid on a per-visit basis.
