Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,334 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13‑week assignment in Cumming, Georgia. The position is 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days. Responsibilities Assist patients with speech, voice or swallowing impairments. Evaluate and develop individualized plans of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Diagnose, treat and prevent speech, language and swallowing disorders. Create treatment and therapy plans tailored to the needs of a diverse population. Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders. Educate patients and family members about speech disorders, causes and related disabilities. Report progress and status to appropriate parties, including family members, teachers or medical professionals. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6 months experience in SLP; new graduate applicants are encouraged. BLS certification and ASHA‑SLP National Certification with state‑specific licensing. Ability to stand and walk for long periods and to bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Job ID #1441109.
