Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Quality Department.

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Quality Department.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-process inspections on the manufacturing line through visual inspection, physical measurement, and functional testing to ensure product specifications are met.
- Collect daily part samples, including moving sample pans and performing light lifting as needed.
- Inspect parts using a variety of precision measuring equipment, including:
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Depth Micrometers
- Comparators
- Indicators
- Pin Gages
- Thread Gages
- Bubble Testers
- Other specialized gages as required
- Conduct process audits in accordance with Dapco standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, Quality Control Instructions, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Maintain compliance with quality system requirements and established manufacturing standards.
- Identify quality issues and deviations from specifications.
- Accurately document inspection results using verbal, written, and computer-based reporting.
- Complete disposition tags legibly and maintain a thorough understanding of Dapco Industries' tagging system.
- Participate in sorting and rework activities as needed.
- Experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection environment required.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and stay organized.
- Effective communication and computer skills.
- Reliable attendance is essential.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime when required.
