Type of Opportunity: Full time • FTE: 1.00 • Job Exempt: No Work Shift: Varied Days and Hours (United States of America) Responsibilities Join Albuquerque Ambulance Services (AAS) as a Paramedic with the Santa Fe team and support New Mexico's leading emergency medical response agency. Operate with a critical care model for inter-facility transfer (IFT) within the Presbyterian Santa Fe Facility; unit is ALS-based and station paced. Provide care in a non-911 transfer context while maintaining a team-oriented and family-like atmosphere. Engage in a schedule with three 12-hour shifts (Days 0700–1900, Nights 1900–0700, or Swings 1400–0200). Participate in onboarding supports and ongoing professional development. Utilize on-site equipment and software (ImageTrend Elite Charting, Stryker devices, LIFEPAK monitors, ONsite gym, etc.). Contribute to community care through inter-facility transport and emergency medical services as assigned. Shift Differentials Santa Fe Differential: $4.00/hr (all hours worked) Ambulance Service Differential: $2.00/hr (all hours worked) Night Differential: $5.00/hr (eligible night hours, stacks on base rate) Weekend Differential: $3.00/hr (eligible weekend hours, stacks on base rate) Education Differential: $2.00–$3.00/hr (Bachelor’s or Master’s, if in approved focus, earned on all hours worked) Qualifications Flight Paramedic Certification (FPC) or willingness to obtain it. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Current New Mexico driver’s license without relevant restrictions within 30 days of hire; must be at least 18 years old with insurable driving record. Paramedic license (NM EMS Bureau) required. Current ACLS and BLS through AHA, ASHI, or Red Cross. FEMA 100, 200, 700 courses up to date. EMT experience preferred. Must pass a physical abilities assessment and obtain medical examiner/DOT certification as part of onboarding. Additional Information Education assistance toward a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree.
