Work Environment

As a member of our team, you will work primarily in a remote setting, though our outpatient office in Rochester is available for in-person sessions if preferred. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to fully understand clients’ mental health concerns and develop effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing a range of evidence-based modalities, allowing for flexibility in approach based on client needs.
• Establish and regularly update therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients, while monitoring their progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Offer teletherapy services for clients who may prefer virtual consultations, eliminating barriers to access and fostering a supportive therapist-client relationship.
• Ensure all session notes and treatment documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with ethical and regulatory standards, showcasing our professionalism.
• Engage actively in ongoing professional development to keep skills sharp and stay informed about evolving best practices in therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice caters to a diverse range of individuals facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological conditions. Qualifications

• A valid state license is required: either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital for building trust and rapport with clients, ensuring a safe therapeutic space.
• Demonstrated empathy and compassion, coupled with a non-judgmental attitude, are crucial for effectively supporting clients through their challenges.
