• 12-Hour Days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Shift Time: 0630-1900hrs

- Department: - Laboratory - Certifications Required:

• BLS Certification
• Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) via ASCP or AMT

- Key Responsibilities: - Cover all laboratory areas as a versatile generalist - Perform essential functions in:

• Chemistry
• Hematology
• Blood Bank
• Urinalysis
• ABGs (Arterial Blood Gases)
• Engage in phlebotomy (preferred)

- Experience Required:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a generalist
• Open to first-time travelers

- Technology:

• Familiarity with EPIC LIS System and various lab equipment
• ORTHO for Chemistry
• ACL TOP for Coagulation
• Sysmex for Hematology
• Manual Gel for Blood Bank
• Clinitech for Urinalysis
• ABL 90 for ABGs

- Management Support:

• No Lab Manager on each shift, but available by phone during days
• Work independently on overnight shifts
• No lab assistants staffed

- Shift & Scheduling:

• 8-hour shifts starting at 0630 or 0700
• Evening shifts: 4-10s starting at 1130
• Night shifts: 4-10s or 3-12s starting at 1845 Mon-Thur and 2130 Fri-Sun
• Manager will create the schedule

- Weekend Requirements:

• 12-hour day and night shifts
• Rotate working 1 weekend per month as the only tech on staff

- Attendance Policies:

• Holiday availability required based on need
• No on-call or standby call required
• Dress code: Clean and professional attire; lab coats provided
