Senior Project Manager - Commercial ConstructionPosition OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects on schedule and within budget while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, technical construction knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across complex commercial builds.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all phases of commercial construction projects including preconstruction, planning, execution, monitoring and closeout.Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cash flow forecasts; proactively identify and mitigate risks to maintain project performance.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and onsite trades to ensure work is completed to specification and on time.Serve as the primary client and owner representative, maintaining clear communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare and administer contracts, change orders, and procurement activities; review and approve subcontractor invoices and progress payments.Ensure compliance with safety standards and site-specific safety plans; promote a strong safety culture and conduct regular inspections.Oversee quality control and assurance processes, conduct punch lists, and ensure final deliverables meet contractual requirements.Lead project meetings, provide regular status reports to leadership and stakeholders, and maintain accurate project documentation using project management software.s.QualificationsMinimum 8+ years of progressive commercial construction experience with at least 4 years in a project management role overseeing mid-to-large scale commercial projects.Proven experience in budgeting, cost control, scheduling (MS Project, Primavera or equivalent), and contract administration.Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing subcontractors, multi-disciplinary teams, and client relationships.Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, building codes, permitting processes, and best practices for quality and safety.BenefitsEmployee Stock Ownership PlanDiscretionary annual bonus 401k with employer matchEmployee medical, dental, and vision insurance 100% coveredFlexible Time Off Policy9 paid company holidays
