Project Administrator | Commercial Construction Houston, TX | Commercial General Contractor $60,000 - $75,000 base salary + benefits + long term career growth Blayze Group is partnering with a growing commercial general contractor in Houston to appoint an experienced Project Administrator to support project teams across a strong pipeline of commercial construction projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong construction administration experience who is highly organized, detail focused, and confident supporting Project Managers and Superintendents from award through closeout. The Role Assist Project Managers with purchase orders, addenda, subcontracts, and project setup after award Set up projects in Sage and maintain accurate project documentation for the Accounting Department Coordinate initial utility company contact and support follow up until infrastructure is in place Track subcontractor documentation including W-9s, bonds, Workers’ Compensation, Builders Risk, and liability insurance Assist with permit applications, utility applications, Certificates of Occupancy, and compliance documentation Manage project administration including submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, tracking logs, and project workbooks Maintain accurate records across Sage, PlanGrid, and internal project databases Assemble closeout documentation including affidavits, lien releases, warranty letters, and related paperwork Create and administer service orders as required What We’re Looking For Minimum of 8 years’ experience in construction administration, project coordination, or commercial construction support Strong understanding of construction documentation, permits, utilities, insurance, subcontracts, and closeout Experience supporting RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, pay applications, and project logs Sage experience preferred PlanGrid, Procore, or similar construction software experience would be useful Highly organized, proactive, detail focused, and comfortable supporting multiple projects at once Background with a general contractor, subcontractor, or commercial construction company preferred This is a strong opportunity to join a growing commercial contractor with a steady project pipeline, a supportive team culture, and long term opportunity within project operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
