RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the business goals of the insurance agency with mutually agreed upon expectations. Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, prospecting cold calling, claim submissions and billing clarification. Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about our services. Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business. QUALIFICATIONS: To be eligible for an internship, you must be a full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program throughout the duration of the internship. Coursework or expressed interest in areas such as Insurance, Financial Services, Real Estate, Marketing, etc. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as operate independently Effective customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create, build, and maintain relationships with internal and external parties Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail Compensation: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour Do you want a career and not just a job? Our office is located in Sunrise/ Tamarac. I have been a State Farm agent since 2019. Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I was previously employed as a State Farm Agent Team Member. I am a proud graduate of Florida International University. We have 15 years of combined insurance experience in our office. Our agency has received awards including: Ambassador Travel and Legion of Honor Additional languages spoken: Spanish State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees.
