6 AM – 2:30 PM

Stable hours for financial security and work‑life balance Primary location: Landfill site in Jessup, MD with traveling to other sites Responsibilities Repair equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, front end loaders, yard trucks, farm tractors, forklifts, and company cars Diagnose and repair differentials, hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, drives, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems Perform preventive maintenance as set out by the site checklist Complete paperwork and admin tasks including work orders, card files, P.M. checklists, and oil samples Service and maintain light plants, water pumps, welders, and other equipment Follow site‑specific procedures and detailed job descriptions Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications 6 years of maintenance mechanic experience on heavy equipment Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Over 18 years of age Legally eligible to work in the United States Ability to meet physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations Successfully complete pre‑employment drug screen and physical Annual Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), Audiogram, and Respirator Fit Test Ideal Candidates Work independently and thrive under independent conditions Take accountability for quality and standards of work Communicate effectively to support colleagues Are curious and determined problem‑solvers Work Environment and Physical Demands Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing; constant standing, walking, grasping; occasional sitting and balancing Risk of cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc. Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, heat, humidity Work both inside garage, shop or gas plant and outside conditions with inclement weather Equal Opportunity Employer: Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran #J-18808-Ljbffr WM
