REGISTERED NURSE (RN) PART-TIME DAY SHIFT OLDER ADULT UNIT

Responsibilities REGISTERED NURSE (RN) OLDER ADULT UNIT – Part‑Time Days 7 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. RNs coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. They oversee and direct the LPNs and MHTs on their units to provide for the safety and needs of the patients. A passion to work with older adults is ideal. Position Summary The Metropolitan Behavioral Health Hospital is a growing 144‑bed behavioral health facility that provides a full continuum of inpatient services for adolescents, adults, and older adults, with 24‑hour behavioral health assessments and programs for co‑occurring behavioral health and substance use issues. The unit offers a robust outpatient program that includes group, family, and individual therapy. Experience: Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility preferred. Licensure: RN license issued by the State of Michigan. Work hours: Part‑time day shift (7 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.). This position also works rotating holidays and every other weekend.
