Staff Product Designer As a Staff Product Designer on the Student Experience team at Handshake, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how millions of students discover jobs and build their careers. You will own the end-to-end experience in areas such as job discovery, resume building, and interview preparation, with a focus on integrating AI-powered features that enhance student engagement and success. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with product, engineering, applied AI, and data science teams to define problems and shape product strategies. Own the design process from concept to launch, ensuring the creation of user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mocks. Design experiences across the student journey, including AI-powered interactions that assist students in their career planning. Rapidly iterate designs based on user feedback and experiment results to optimize for better career outcomes. Ensure designs foster trust and transparency, helping users understand AI recommendations. Required Skills & Qualifications 7+ years of experience in product design, especially in consumer-facing products. Proven ability to manage complex product experiences from start to finish. Experience with AI-driven products and designing for user trust and control. Strong communication skills to articulate design insights and decisions.
