The role requires flexibility, charge nurse experience, and the ability to contribute to the educational environment by interacting with students and new hires. The assignment is scheduled to start on October 5, 2026, with a potential end date of January 2, 2027. Job Details Certifications, Education, and Experience: Active VA or Compact License, 2 years of relevant specialty experience, BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Schedule: 12-hour Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), working 48 hours per week, starting on 10/5/2026. Required Qualifications: 2 years of relevant specialty experience, active VA / Compact License, BLS certification. Additional Requirements: Must have previous travel experience in similar roles, be willing to work holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years), and contribute to a team environment supporting students and new hires. Responsibilities: Assist in patient care on the Medical Surgical floor with a focus on diabetic and renal cases, serve as a charge nurse, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes in a teaching hospital setting.
