Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Location: Monterey, CA

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift:
• Day Shift

Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a Skilled Nursing Facility assignment. Candidates with SNF experience and NetHealth/Rehab Optima knowledge are highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to patients
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with improving strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Utilize NetHealth/Rehab Optima EMR system for charting and treatment updates
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy exercises and rehabilitation goals
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and therapy protocols

Requirements:
• Active California PTA license required
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience preferred
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
• Experience with NetHealth/Rehab Optima strongly preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills required
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
