Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Specialist to establish a comprehensive environmental management system from the ground up. In this role, you will build robust frameworks for waste segregation, water monitoring, and air emission controls that exceed legal requirements. Furthermore, you will be responsible for designing a proactive regulatory intelligence system to continuously update chemical handling standards and environmental policies, ensuring our organization stays ahead of domestic and international compliance trends.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end process of waste management, including the segregation, collection, and legally compliant disposal of both general and designated hazardous waste.
• Conduct regular monitoring and chemical analysis of water pollutants to ensure adherence to environmental standards.
• Manage air emission systems to guarantee stable operations and full compliance with legal regulations and internal operational standards.
• Track regulatory trends to drive the establishment and revision of internal environmental management policies.
• Develop and enforce chemical handling standards, covering safe procurement, storage, usage, and disposal practices.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of EPA regulations (RCRA, Clean Air/Water Acts).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in EHS management with at least 1 years focused on Environmental systems, permitting, and design review in U.S. industrial, manufacturing, or commercial environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a multicultural or international environment.
• Basic knowledge of project management tools or software.
• Experience in managing EHS systems and coordinating with authorities/AHJ.
• CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) or CEP (Certified Environmental Professional) preferred.

• ~10-20% travel required
