Academic Coach

Job Description Starting Date: Immediately Anderson County School System is seeking an Academic Coach for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year for the elementary schools. The Academic Coach provides support for curriculum standards and Anderson County instructional practices in all subjects. Ensure vertical alignment and continuity of the program of study for all students, collaborating with curriculum coordinators. Provide support through co‑planning, co‑teaching, lesson studies, modeling research‑based instructional strategies, reviewing student assessments, data analysis, and engaging classroom teachers in reflective practices. Work with school administration to develop detailed professional growth plans for individual teachers. This is a certified position. Job Qualifications Valid teacher license; master's degree preferred. Excellent verbal and presentation skills. Interpersonal skills, emphasizing persuasiveness and consensus building. Minimum of professional licensure and tenure, and/or five years of teaching experience. Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements set forth herein will not be considered for this position.
