Job Opportunity – Certified Surgical Technologist – Alaska

Start Date: June 16, 2026
Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: As needed; flexible scheduling based on unit needs

Highlights:

• Labor and Delivery/Postpartum Unit (LDRP) with 7-bed capacity
• Diverse procedural experience including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&E, D&C, tubal ligations, vaginal repairs, and hysterectomies
• Collaborative team environment with 2 RNs and 1 surgical tech per shift
• EPIC documentation system and GE equipment
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Variable patient ratios based on acuity to ensure quality care

Requirements:

• Active Certified Surgical Technologist credential required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Proven knowledge and experience in labor and delivery surgical settings
• Ability to float to other units as needed when census is low
