You know how a residential jobsite should run. We have the crew, systems, equipment, and real operating experience. We’re looking for the person ready to take the keys.

Spray-Net Atlanta is hiring an experienced working jobsite lead to run kitchen and exterior projects from morning setup through final homeowner walkthrough. You’ll plan the day, direct the crew, manage quality and customer communication—and still mask, prep, move equipment, handle details, and solve production problems alongside the team.

This is a player-coach role, not a position where you stand back and supervise.

You won’t be starting with an empty trailer and a help-wanted ad. We already have an existing field crew, proven coating systems, completed kitchen and exterior work, and a fully equipped 7×14 production trailer. What we need is the field leader who can take what exists, evaluate what should improve, and build the jobsite operation into something excellent.

What You’ll Own

You’ll be responsible for making the entire jobsite work—not simply completing your individual tasks.
That includes:

• Review the project scope and build the daily plan
• Organize setup, assign crew responsibilities, and keep work moving
• Work alongside the crew on masking, preparation, detail work, equipment movement, cleanup, and whatever else is constraining the job
• Coordinate closely with the sprayer and make sure surfaces, products, and site conditions are ready for application
• Maintain quality standards through every stage of preparation and finishing
• Manage homeowner communication during production and address concerns professionally
• Identify substrate, scope, access, or scheduling problems before they become larger failures
• Maintain safe exterior access, ladder practices, fall protection, and an orderly jobsite
• Train crew members, reinforce expectations, and provide honest input about performance and crew roles
• Keep the trailer, tools, products, and supplies organized and production-ready
• Conduct final quality checks and leave the homeowner with both an excellent finish and an excellent experience

Leadership here does not mean personally being the strongest technician at every task. You do not need to be the best sprayer on the crew or take every most-difficult access assignment yourself.

You do need enough residential experience to recognize excellent preparation and finish work, earn the crew’s respect, demonstrate the standard, step in when needed, and keep sight of the entire job while working inside it.

What You’re Stepping Into

Spray-Net Atlanta is a locally owned residential coatings company serving homeowners across metro Atlanta. 

We specialize in onsite kitchen cabinet refinishing and exterior coatings for surfaces including brick, siding, stucco, doors, and windows.

The operation already includes:

• An existing field crew
• Defined coating systems and production processes
• Completed kitchen and exterior projects
• Professional spray equipment, including a Graco 695 and GX19
• A fully equipped 7×14 enclosed production trailer
• Festool dust-control equipment, ladders, fall protection, and specialty preparation tools
• A local owner actively investing in the people, equipment, and systems required to perform excellent work

You’ll work directly with an owner who has personally run these jobs alongside the crew since launch, understands the realities of field production, and has the broader operating experience to build a serious business around excellent work.

You won’t be asked to invent the product, find your own equipment, or assemble a crew from nothing. You will have proven systems to learn and real infrastructure behind you—with meaningful authority to improve how the field operation runs.

The Opportunity

This role is for someone who has learned residential work inside an established company and is ready for broader ownership.
You may have reached the point where you can run a job but still have little influence over the crew, tools, standards, or decisions around you. Here, you’ll have a real voice in:

• How jobsites are organized
• How crew members are trained and deployed
• Whether people are in the right roles
• Which field processes are working and which need to change
• What tools and equipment would improve production
• How we build a repeatable standard across kitchens and exteriors

The immediate job already carries real responsibility. As the company adds volume and crews, strong performance can create a path into broader production leadership—but the opportunity begins with the authority you’ll have on current jobs, not an imaginary future title.

Who We’re Looking For

The strongest candidate will have:

• At least 3 years of professional residential painting, coatings, remodeling, restoration, or closely related jobsite experience
• Experience taking responsibility for a residential jobsite or directing a small crew
• Working knowledge of preparation, masking, spraying, finish quality, and exterior access
• The judgment to sequence work, anticipate problems, and keep several people productive
• The confidence to communicate clearly with both homeowners and crew members
• High standards for jobsite cleanliness, tool care, and finished work
• The ability to hold people accountable without creating unnecessary drama
• A valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
• Comfort driving a truck and enclosed trailer, or the capability and willingness to learn
• The physical ability to work on your feet, lift and move jobsite equipment, and work safely from ladders
• Flexibility for occasional schedule changes or weekend work when weather or project needs require it

A college degree is not required. A polished corporate résumé is not required. We care much more about the work you have run, the crews you have led, and how you think when a job stops going according to plan.

Pay and Schedule

• Full-time W-2 position
• Typical schedule: Monday through Friday
• Occasional weekend or schedule adjustments based on weather and project requirements
• Company uniforms, professional equipment, and specialty tools provided
• Paid training on Spray-Net products and application systems
• Additional growth and compensation opportunities as responsibilities expand

• Your crew trusts your judgment because you lead from inside the work
