Retail Shift Leader

Location: 2304 S. French Ave., Sanford, Florida 32771 Brand: Value Pawn & Jewelry Pay range: $16 to $17 per hour, based on experience. About the Role Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder) – lead the store, develop customer relationships, coach team members, and grow into a Lead Pawnbroker and manager. Key Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service and build solid relationships with customers while promoting sales and making deals for a variety of pawn items. Process loans and extensions, negotiate terms on pawned items. Perform opening and closing store procedures. Supervise, coach, and develop store team members. Maintain a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that sets EZPAWN apart from the competition. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience (key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Highly organized, detail‑oriented with strong judgment and time‑management skills. Ability to read and manage customer needs and build ongoing relationships. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test. Adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulations. Knowledge of commonly pawned items (tools, jewelry, firearms, electronics) is a plus. Sales background and bilingual skills are additional pluses. Career Path Complete the initial 5‑week paid training program, earn a $0.50 raise, and transition to Lead Pawnbroker. Train for the Assistant Manager position, which includes a 6‑month program to build the foundation to run your own store.
