Tool and Die Maker

We're partnering with our client, a manufacturing company, to find a talented Tool and Die Maker. This role is based on-site and offers a Temp to Perm employment opportunity. Join a team committed to precision and craftsmanship, supporting toolmaking operations with a variety of technical tasks. Tool and Die Maker Responsibilities: Construct, develop, alter, and repair tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and special machinery according to specifications. Operate all related toolroom machinery and instruct others in their use. Independently produce tools from drawings or I.G.E.S. files through final assembly, adhering to established procedures. Communicate effectively with design, engineering, vendors, and customers to ensure quality and efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the tool repair process, and expedite repairs with vendors when necessary. Tool and Die Maker Qualifications: Possession of a journeyman card or at least 8 years of relevant experience. Ability to independently produce tooling from provided drawings or I.G.E.S. files, following proper methods. Proficiency in measuring and machining parts to precise tolerances. Experience operating CNC machines, mills, lathes, grinders, drills, and heat treat equipment. Successful completion of pre-employment physical and drug screening, along with background checks.
