My client is seeking a hands-on Building & Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and operation of a manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring all building systems operate safely and efficiently while minimizing downtime and supporting overall production performance. Description Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems Ensure reliable operation of fire and security systems Respond to facility issues and minimize operational disruptions Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs Identify risks and implement improvements to reduce downtime Coordinate third-party service providers and contractors Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to defined standards Support compliance with OSHA regulations and building codes Manage inspections, permits, and required documentation Prioritize maintenance activities in a fast-paced environment Identify root causes and implement long-term solutions Track maintenance expenses, contracts, and service records Provide regular updates to plant leadership Profile 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or building operations Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical) Experience managing vendors and contractors Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in a hands-on role Job Offer Base salary $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience level 15 PTO days + company holidays Comprehensive health benefits, eligible on day 1 of employment 401k program with employer match Opportunities for bonus MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
