Pharmacy ManagerLocation- Dade City, FL & New Port Richey, FLThe Pharmacy Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of the pharmacy while collaborating with Premier Community HealthCare providers and care teams to improve patient health outcomes. This position ensures compliance with all applicable Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations and works closely with the Director of Pharmacy to achieve organizational goals established by Premier's Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team.The Pharmacy Manager serves as both a clinical and operational leader, overseeing pharmacy staff, supporting medication management initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a patient-centered approach to care within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) environment.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily workflow and operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medicationsProvide direct supervision, coaching, and support to Pharmacy Technicians and assigned pharmacy staffCollaborate with providers and care teams regarding medication management and patient care needsAssist patients and care team members with drug information, medication identification, and counseling supportEvaluate and resolve potential drug therapy concerns through prescription review, patient counseling, and clinical interventionEnsure compliance with Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations, DEA requirements, AAAHC standards, and HRSA 340B program requirementsManage medication inventory, purchasing, ordering, and storage to maintain adequate supply levelsRecruit, onboard, train, develop, and evaluate pharmacy staff while fostering engagement and retentionPromote teamwork, trust, accountability, and a psychologically safe work environmentSupport service excellence initiatives and ensure patients receive accessible, compassionate healthcare servicesParticipate in quality improvement and quality assurance initiatives to enhance operational and clinical performanceRepresent Premier's mission and values through community engagement and outreach activitiesMaintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all timesCommunicate operational issues that may impact patient flow, safety, or pharmacy servicesPerform other duties as assignedSupervisory ResponsibilitiesDirect supervision of pharmacy personnel, including Pharmacy Technicians and other assigned staffResponsible for day-to-day pharmacy operations, staff performance management, coaching, scheduling, and developmentKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong understanding of pharmacy operations, clinical pharmacy practice, and medication managementKnowledge of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and the HRSA 340B Drug Pricing ProgramAbility to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across multiple departmentsExperience supporting change management initiatives and process improvement effortsStrong leadership, coaching, and team-building skillsExceptional customer service skills with empathy and compassion for diverse patient populationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesHigh ethical standards and commitment to confidentialityDemonstrated alignment with Premier Community HealthCare's mission, vision, and valuesQualificationsGraduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy requiredPharmD preferredActive Florida Pharmacist license requiredFive (5) or more years of successful experience as a practicing pharmacistPrior experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) strongly preferredExperience with a 340B pharmacy program strongly preferredAbility to obtain and maintain Epic certification and complete annual compliance requirementsWorking Conditions & Physical RequirementsAbility to lift 20 lbs. regularly and 30–50 lbs. occasionallyAbility to sit for extended periods of timeDirect exposure to computer screensPossible exposure to contagious or infectious diseasesAbility to travel between Premier Community HealthCare sites for coverage, meetings, or operational support as neededBackground Screening RequirementThis position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.Applicants may review information regarding the background screening process, disqualifying offenses, and applicant rights by visiting the AHCA Background Screening Education and Awareness webpage:
