Night Shift/36-48hrs per week ( pay posted is for 36hrs)/Our L&D nurses rotate through Post-Partum, where we do couplet care, moms and babies.

Centered in the heart of San Joaquin County, Our Facility has been one of the area's leading healthcare providers since 1952.

We are comprised of a 190-bed hospital, 17 medical offices, home care services, comprehensive cancer care and a vast scope of award-winning services located throughout Lodi and the surrounding areas.

Job Summary: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.

Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required

Department Specific License/Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP): Required Essential

Functions: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient?s health or situation. Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues.

Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes.

Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.

Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes.

Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient?s situation.

Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment.

Provides learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members.

Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment team.

Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care.

Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Floating to other units Required? Occasional, if needed

Weekend Coverage Required? Yes every other or every third weekend.

Day shift: Saturday/Sunday.

Night shift Friday/Saturday

Medication System: Pyxis EMR System: Cerner IV

Teams: No Lift

Teams: No Pharmacy

Hours: 24/7 Phlebotomy available on unit?

24/7 Transport Team:

24/7 Unit Secretary on Unit:

24/7 Laborist on call Hospitalist

24/7 Scrubs: Provided, Purple

We are an LDRP. All RNs do postpartum and couplet care.

NICU/Nursery RNs are expected to attend deliveries when needed for infant stabilization. ""
