Shipping And Receiving Clerk

M-F 8am-4:30pm Job Summary: A Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments. This role supports warehouse operations by organizing load priority and coordinating with carriers and vendors. Key Responsibilities

• Email and Telephone communication with customers and carriers
• Managing the daily inbound and outbound schedule
• Order processing and closing shipped orders in Warehouse Management system
• Occasional inventory checks per customer request
• Keeping organized files and records of all schedules, BOLs, and other paperwork
• Empty Container Inventory
• Assigning containers to orders based on age, size, weight and RailRoad allowances

Required Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience is a plus
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience using inventory management systems
• Knowledge of shipping procedures and logistics, specifically railroad/container
• Time management and problem-solving skills

Work Environment

• Office/Warehouse Heavy equipment present
  • PPE required for warehouse entry
• Possible overtime or weekend shifts during busy periods

Pay Range

• $22/Hour
