It’s a highly collaborative environment where engineering expertise drives real impact!The Senior/Staff Facilities SCADA Engineer plays a key role in designing, maintaining, and improving automation systems that power facility operations. This individual brings deep PLC and SCADA expertise to ensure reliability, scalability, and integration across systems. The role partners closely with engineering, operations, and vendors to support commissioning, solve issues, and lead continuous improvement efforts.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain PLC programs using Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal, and FasTrak 505 WorkshopConfigure and support HMI applications using AVEVA System Platform OMILead deployment and fixing of Siemens automation hardware across platformsPartner with multi-functional teams to support system reliability, performance, and commissioningDocument PLC code, system changes, and configurationsUse Agentic AI to improve current process workflows and drive continuous improvementMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Controls Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience5+ years of PLC programming, hardware, and system architecture experienceProficiency with Siemens PLC platforms including Step 7 and TIA PortalExperience with SCADA systems, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity fundamentalsPreferred Qualifications:7+ years of SCADA/PLC experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturingExperience with AVEVA System Platform OMI, InTouch, or similar HMI toolsFamiliarity with FasTrak 505 WorkshopKnowledge of industrial communication protocols such as PROFIBUS and PROFINETAbility to interpret P&IDs and lead complex troubleshooting effortsAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
