Licensed Practical Nurse (Long Term Care) – Newport, Vermont, United States. Start date: 09/01/2026. Duration: 14 weeks. Weekly pay: $865–$904 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-night shifts. Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility; Travel - Temporary Assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting, including routine assessments and assistance with activities of daily living
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders; document administration accurately
- Monitor vital signs, assess changes in resident condition, and report findings promptly to the supervising nurse
- Maintain accurate charting and documentation in the electronic health record; ensure continuity of care
- Assist with wound care, basic IV care where applicable, and skin integrity; support mobility and fall-prevention efforts
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans; communicate changes and concerns to the charge nurse or supervisor
- Uphold infection control policies, patient safety standards, and residents’ rights

Requirements
- Active LPN license (in good standing)
- Local candidates only for the Newport, Vermont area
- Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours) and meet the stated schedule
- Comfortable working in a long-term care/skilled nursing environment with geriatric residents
- Ability to pass background check and credentialing requirements
