Position:  Working Foreman-Steel Products
Location: Zelienople, PA

Type:  Temp to Hire

Pay: Starting at $28/based on experience
Shift:   Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (daily overtime available)

Benefits (after probationary period): 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision (employee pays only co-pays), 10 paid holidays, 2 weeks of vacation after one year, 401(k) with company match up to 4%

Position Overview:
This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and oversees daily operations in the manufacturing facility, and supports overall production efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing employee work schedules based on production needs

• Act as a liaison between production staff and supervision

• Support maintenance activities as needed

• Assist with onboarding and training of new employees

• Work closely with welders, including training new hires and helping non-certified welders achieve certification

• Partner with the Quality Control Manager to ensure consistent product quality

• Help develop and implement shop floor production standards, continuously improving processes and equipment

• Collaborate with management on annual budgeting for operational improvements

• Perform routine quality checks on the shop floor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and completion of a welding trade school program

• Strong organizational and scheduling skills

• Experience with carbon steel MIG welding

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Excellent communication skills

• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably in steel fabrication

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
