CT Technologist

Summary The Computerized Tomography (CAT) Scan Technologist is responsible for producing and evaluating CAT Scan diagnostic images as ordered by the referring physician. The technologist performs CAT Scan exams per established policies, procedures, and protocols, consistently maintaining a high level of quality and productivity. The technologist performs quality assurance duties, operates all relevant CAT Scan equipment and computer systems, including RIS/PACS, and reviews requisition to determine proper study. The technologist interviews patients for medical history, prepares patients for exams, and administers oral and IV contrast.
