Occupational Health Nurse (RN) - per diem (up to 24 hours per week)

We're looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team as a per diem Occupational Health Nurse , providing care and support to our employees across the organization. This is an opportunity to use your nursing expertise in a role that combines clinical assessment, employee health, workplace safety, education, and prevention. With a schedule of up to 24 hours per week , this position offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our workforce. What You'll Do Provide employee health services , including health screenings, review of health assessments, immunizations, and maintenance of confidential employee health records. Assess occupational injuries, illnesses, and workplace exposures , providing appropriate care or referral in accordance with clinical guidelines and established protocols. Support employees returning to work following injury or illness, including work restrictions, modified schedules, job limitations, and other accommodations. Promote a safe and healthy workplace by identifying potential health and safety concerns and participating in the agency's Safety and Infection Control Committees. Support infection prevention and control efforts and provide employee education and training related to infection control and workplace health and safety. Maintain required occupational health documentation , including the OSHA 300 Log. Stay current with applicable regulations and professional standards related to employee health, OSHA, infection control, OPWDD, and the Department of Health. Contribute to health and safety policies and procedures and assist with the agency's Safety Data Sheet (SDS) system. Why This Role? Strong clinical assessment, communication, organizational, and planning skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism. Ability to establish positive working relationships with employees, supervisors, and others. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
