You can join a dynamic team of professionals where your contributions and voice make a difference.We are the best family care center across Southwestern PA and Northern WV for affordable healthcare.Communicates effectively with a broad range of patients, community and organizational members.Job Description/Duties Include:Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.Prepares patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient.Sterilizes and delivers instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist's access; suctioning; passing instruments.Selects, mixes, and places materials on instruments and in the patient's mouth.Exposes and develops radiographic studies; pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts.Maintains patient confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Adheres to infection-control policies and protocols.Completes preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.Maintains dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.Obtains prior authorizationsScansHandles patient phone callsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:High School diploma or equivalent requiredDental Assistant diploma preferred; but will trainX-Ray Certification required within the first 6 months of employmentQualificationsCornerstone Care is a Non-Profit, Federally Qualified Health Center with 14 locations and a mobile unit, serving communities throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania, and Northern West Virginia.
