Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician

The ideal candidate must be extremely organized, self‑reliant, proactive, and detail oriented. Primary Responsibilities Lead and perform routine aircraft maintenance, including inspections, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of airframe and engine systems in accordance with Federal Regulations. Assist the Director of Maintenance with oversight of maintenance schedules, inspections, and compliance tracking. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to maintenance personnel to ensure high‑quality, efficient work practices. Communicate, as required, with vendors, suppliers, pilots, operations staff and management teams regarding maintenance planning and aircraft status. Must demonstrate efficient use and application of tools, gauges, instruments, etc. necessary for accomplishment of duties as assigned. Interpretation of technical manuals, instructions, schematics and drawings, AD’s, service bulletins and implementation of established maintenance procedures. Ensure personal compliance with Aviation Advisor, Inc. safety standards. Exercise independent judgment, decision‑making abilities and the desire to become a key member of the organization.
