Broker Associate – Commercial Real Estate (with base salary) Full-Time | Newport Beach, CA About the Firm We are a growing and entrepreneurial commercial real estate brokerage platform seeking a motivated Broker Associate to join our Newport Beach team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a driven sales professional who thrives in a relationship-based environment and wants to build a long-term career in commercial real estate. Working alongside senior producers, this individual will play an active role in business development, client engagement, market research, and transaction support while developing the skills and relationships needed to grow into a top-producing advisor. This role offers direct mentorship from experienced professionals, exposure to commercial real estate transactions, and a clear path toward career growth and earnings potential. Compensation Base salary: $40,000–$45,000 annually, plus commission eligibility. Estimated On-Target Earnings (OTE): approximately $100,000 annually, though actual earnings may vary based on individual performance. Responsibilities Partner with senior brokerage professionals to support business development initiatives and cultivate client relationships. Identify and develop market- and property-specific target lists to generate new business opportunities. Prospect through cold calling, canvassing, networking, email outreach, and in-person meetings to build a pipeline of prospective clients. Schedule and conduct meetings with property owners, tenants, investors, and other commercial real estate stakeholders. Develop and negotiate commercial real estate sales and leasing opportunities. Drive new client acquisition efforts while maintaining regular contact with prospects and existing relationships. Prepare client-facing materials including market surveys, presentations, summary reports, maps, and property analyses. Review and summarize leases, title documents, and related transaction materials. Maintain accurate activity records, contacts, opportunities, and pipeline updates within the firm’s CRM system. Support marketing and outreach initiatives designed to increase visibility and strengthen market presence. Deliver a high level of responsiveness, professionalism, and service throughout the client experience. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience will also be considered. Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle required. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint. Basic understanding of financial concepts including ROI, NPV, and investment analysis. Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship-building abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized self-starter with strong work ethic and desire to build a successful commercial real estate career.
