Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred; can consider under 2 years depending on experience License: Not specified Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP Must-Have: AWHONN certification is a hard stop; must have a pass. Expert experience to perform sterile vaginal exams independently without supervision is required. Experience with the specified electronic health record system is required. Candidates must be open to working weekends and possibly exceeding the every-other-weekend requirement to meet unit needs. Description: The role focuses on providing care in the Labor and Delivery setting. Candidates must have experience performing sterile vaginal exams and triage. First-timers are accepted for this position. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2. Floating to other units may be required. Scheduling preferences can be considered but are not guaranteed. Requests for time off must be included during the submission process. The facility can call off staff once per two-week pay period.
