We are a modern American bakery in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. We are seeking a reliable, meticulous individual who enjoys working in a kitchen and has a strong attention to detail. Starting at $21, going up from there depending on experience. If you are looking for a stable, positive work environment with very focused, predictable work, this job could be for you!

This is a full-time position, 5 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Assist with bakery production, including portioning batters, scooping muffins, slicing quickbread, sheeting dough, measuring and packaging various items.
• Pack approximately 100 wholesale cookie orders, according to daily invoices
• Baking cookies and various pastries
• Count and sort a large volume of baked goods
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, execute tasks with consistency.

EXPERIENCE + QUALIFICATIONS

• Very comfortable working with your hands and standing for a full shift
• Kitchen experience is not required, however you must be willing to learn new skills
• Comfortable working in a team environment, as well as independently
• Reading and speaking English
