Transform Lives with Every Step: Join Our Inpatient Physical Therapy Team in Kansas City
- Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, creating personalized treatment plans
- Implement physical therapy interventions with a focus on mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
- Partner with a diverse team of nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home exercise strategies
- Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress complying with facility and regulatory standards
- Engage in multidisciplinary conferences and care team rounds to ensure coordinated patient care
Education
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a relevant equivalent from an accredited institution
Certifications
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification is preferred
- Additional certifications in specialized areas (neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
Skills
- Prior experience is highly valued
- Capability to treat patients facing complex medical challenges and mobility issues
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation systems is essential
