Practice Coordinator II (LPN/LVN)

Overview Job Description The Practice Coordinator II is responsible for various administrative and operational functions to support the division to which the Practice Coordinator is assigned. The Practice Coordinator II acts as a resource/liaison to the hospital, practice providers, clinical leadership, and patient community. Responsibilities Collaborate with Envision’s Operations and Client Services Departments to complete/process necessary forms for Credentialing, Payroll, Human Resources, and Legal to ensure timeliness of provider contracts. Work with Practice Manager to ensure timeliness of new provider contracts. Assist the Medical Director with department staff meeting agendas, and maintain attendance and minutes as needed. Assist in the resolution of issues and stay current on policies and procedures. Assist Quality Specialists with data collection and aggregation for reporting. Process payroll for providers and collaborate with workforce to implement Kronos rules and pay codes. Act as liaison between Operations, Hospital Health System MSO and Sheridan’s Credentialing Department. Help facilitate credentialing of providers by obtaining all necessary documents to expedite processing. Assist the Site Billing Coordinator to ensure medical records are completed in a timely manner for billing. Attend site visits with Practice Manager or Regional Practice Director. Develop relationships with providers and senior leadership to communicate initiatives. Attend department staff meetings and take minutes, as needed. Answer provider requests and/or triage provider and/or patient issues with the appropriate party. Receive provider expense reports and process them for payment. Maintain files for each provider including OPPE, CME, and performance-related information as needed. Correspond with providers as requested by Practice Manager and/or Clinical Leadership. Assist in coordinating facility-specific orientation and facilitate system access by working with Hospital IT staff. Review staffing vacancies for accuracy and review changes with Operator and/or Clinical Leadership. Navigate the corporate processing system for new hires, including requesting a contract, ensuring all applicable forms from HR, payroll, and credentialing are mailed, received, and returned. Track all information and log and follow up on missing items. Monitor credentialing progress to ensure candidate is processed internally and at the facility close to the start date. Assist in the recruitment process for open positions at the facility (e.g., PRFs, scheduling candidates for interviews, preparing interview agendas). Maintain an up-to-date contact list of all assigned providers. Participate in various process improvement projects and Kaizen initiatives. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, billing, and compliance requirements for a hospital setting. Strong organizational skills, with ability to effectively prioritize work daily and follow up on open items in a timely manner. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while meeting established production and quality goals/metrics. Able to communicate and work well in a team environment. May support more than one facility, or a large and/or high-volume facility or practice, particularly in areas with high concentration of multiple practices or facilities. Education/Experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Associates Degree preferred. Three (3) or more years of related experience.
