Description: The unit has over 500 beds and approximately 30 staff members. Day shift consists of 6 therapists, including a charge person. Night shift includes 5 therapists, also with a charge person. The patient-to-therapist ratio is in accordance with standard practices. Equipment used includes EPOC Blood Gases, PB 840, Newport, ReVel, LTV, and V60. The facility uses Meditech for electronic medical records. Candidates with expertise in vent and Bipap management will be prioritized. ICU experience is also preferred. Typical procedures performed include HHN, CPT, Bipap and vent management, and extubation. Floating may occur to various intensive care and step-down units. Dress code requires royal blue scrubs. Weekends and on-call duties involve rotating shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
