About the Opportunity
A leading advanced manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who thrives in a fast-paced, high-tech environment and enjoys solving complex equipment challenges.
In this role, you'll play a critical part in keeping production running smoothly by maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving sophisticated manufacturing equipment used in wafer fabrication processes.
What You'll Do- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex production equipment with minimal supervision
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and uptime
- Rebuild and modify manufacturing equipment to improve efficiency and reliability
- Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify issues and implement solutions
- Partner with engineering teams to recommend process and equipment improvements
- Lead or support other technicians and assist in training team members
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance
- Analyze equipment data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- 6+ years of hands-on equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- High vacuum systems
- Lithography tools
- Wet bench systems
- Measurement equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on complex assignments
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Associate's degree or higher
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Cleanroom environment (gowning required: smock, hood, gloves, etc.)
- Frequent standing, walking, and physical activity
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly
- Exposure to manufacturing equipment, moderate noise, and controlled chemicals
