ERP Product Analyst

Company Overview

A leading aerospace and defense manufacturer is seeking an experienced Oracle ERP professional to support critical manufacturing systems and business operations. The organization develops advanced technologies used in commercial aviation, defense applications, space exploration, and other highly engineered environments.

Position Summary

The Oracle ERP Manufacturing IT Product Analyst serves as an individual contributor responsible for developing, supporting, testing, and maintaining Oracle manufacturing applications and related tools. This role provides both functional and technical expertise across Oracle manufacturing modules and works closely with business and IT teams to drive operational improvements and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, configure, implement, and support Oracle manufacturing solutions.
• Oracle Manufacturing modules include: Bills of Material (BOM), Routing & Operations, Work in Process (WIP), Cost Management, Inventory, Quality, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Discrete Manufacturing.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing Oracle ERP and cloud-based applications.
• Develop, test, modify, and troubleshoot Oracle applications and integrations.
• Analyze and document business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Coordinate testing, data validation, deployment activities, training, and user adoption efforts.
• Resolve production issues and provide Level 2 application support.
• Lead small to medium-sized projects and contribute to larger enterprise initiatives.
• Mentor less experienced team members when appropriate.
• Utilize SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Participate in occasional after-hours or weekend support for critical business activities.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of Oracle EBS R12 manufacturing experience, including Bills of Material (BOM), Work in Process (WIP), Routing, Inventory, Costing
• Experience troubleshooting Oracle interfaces and data integration issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting discrete manufacturing environments, particularly within aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing.
• Background supporting multi-site manufacturing organizations.
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with Oracle Order Management, Procurement, and Shipping modules.
• Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
