Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Newark, NJ

A Retail Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available for a Per Diem assignment in Newark, NJ, with shifts scheduled from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on July 6th and 7th (Monday and Tuesday).


Key Responsibilities:

• Enter patient data and prescription orders accurately into the pharmacy system.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications.
• Manage and restock OTC inventory to maintain pharmacy supply levels.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing questions and concerns.
• Resolve third-party prescription plan issues to enable smooth prescription processing.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid and active Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey.
• Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting is required.
• Familiarity with the Pioneer software system is preferred.
